Family Caregiver Series
A 3-part education series designed specially for family members who are caring for a person with dementia. This workshop will be held in the Dogwood Room at Garden Park Tower in Abbotsford. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, September 22nd.
Topics covered include:
- Understanding dementia (brain changes and symptoms)
- Strategies for communication and understanding behaviour
- Planning for the future
- Prioritizing self-care
- Gain some skills for your caregiving ‘toolbox’!
DATE: September 26, October 3 & 11th (2 Mondays and 1 Tuesday)
TIME: 1 – 4 p.m.
