Our Recreation Volunteers are involved with our residents in many of the following ways:
- Arts & Crafts
- One-to-one Visits
- Reminiscing
- Reading & Writing Letters
- Bus Trips
- Bingo
- Bowling
- Active games
- Table games (eg. dominos)
- Card games (eg. Crib)
- Gardening
- Musical performances
- Helping with special seasonal events
- Cooking and baking
- TLC (tender loving care: manicures & hand massage)

Pre-requisites for Volunteering
All Jackman Manor Volunteer applicants are required to complete the following 3 steps:
.#1 Influenza Immunization
We require all volunteers to be immunized every year; volunteers must comply with the Fraser Health Flu Policy. If you choose not to obtain the flu shot, your volunteer position will be put on hold from December 1st to April 30th.
#2 Criminal Record Check
We require all volunteers to have a Criminal Record Check done.
